Can’t write NFS share

So you set up your NFS server and NFS client. All goes well. Shares mount Ok. You can read all the files you want. But! You can’t write. The mounted NFS shares are not writable. You check your setup (/etc/exports, /etc/fstab), but all seems well.

Check the files system permissions at your NFS server! It is possible, that the mount point you are exporting as rw (read-write) share in fact has only read permissions and, of course, is not writable despite whatever NFS thinks.
