Encrypt/decrypt a file

Quick and simple way to encrypt a file:

 gpg -c <filename> 

You will be prompted for a password.

A new file will be created with .gpg added to the name. The original file will remain intact.

To decrypt:

 gpg -d <filename.gpg> > outfilename

You will be prompted for a password.

Provide the name of the file to write the decrypted data to. Otherwise it all will end up on your screen.

The original .gpg file will remain intact.
