sudo jhead -de *
// Possibly also ‘mogrify -strip image.jpg’ or ‘mogrify -strip *.jpg’
jhead is good bacause it’s free and multi-platform. But I need a GUI and accurate deletion of EXIF data. So, I prefer commercial EXIFcleaner for this purpose – it is actually a Windows utility.
I avoid using commercial products for the sake of long-term sustainability.
Though there was at least one freeware GUI program for Windows to do this, but I have forgotten the name. It wasn’t bad at all.
